Previous Exhibition and Conferences

Since its establishment in 1958, Exhibition Center of China Light Industry has hosted many kinds of exhibitions and conferences including national level, international exchanges, light industry systems and various industry associations, which has made outstanding contributions to the promotion of national economy and foreign trade.
The party and state leaders visited the center or exhibitions organized by the center many times to inspect and inscribe.

National Level Achievement

50th Anniversary of the Founding of China Achievement Exhibition

As one of the main celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the exhibition showed that the Chinese people had successfully embarked on a new path of socialism with Chinese characteristics under the leadership of the three generations of the Communist Party of China with Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and Jiang Zemin as the core. The exhibition is divided into 64 exhibition areas, with more than 22,000 square meters and 1.5 million visitors.

State-owned Enterprise Achievements Exhibition

Organized by the National Economic and Trade Commission, the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry of Finance, the National Bureau of Statistics and Beijing Government, the exhibition comprehensively and systematically demonstrated the great achievements of the people of the whole country under the leadership of General Secretary Jiang Zemin, fulfilling the three-year goal of reforming state-owned enterprises and getting rid of poverty.

International Exchange and Cooperation Exhibition

K show

The Düsseldorf International Rubber Exhibition, Germany，known as K show, began in 1952 and is currently the largest, highest level and most representative plastic exhibition in the world. Our center was responsible for the China Pavilion in previous exhibitions.

China-ASEAN Light Industry Exposition

The expo is co-sponsored by China and the 10 ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) governments and the ASEAN Secretariat, with the aim of "promoting the construction, sharing cooperation and developing opportunities of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area ". It has become an important platform for friendly exchanges, trade promotion and multi-field cooperation between China and ASEAN.

Light Industry System Exhibition

National Light Industry Products Fair

In order to review the achievements of China's light industry development, the Ministry of Light Industry held the largest light industry product fair since the founding of New China, saluting the 30th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, m ore than 3,000 new light industrial products were exhibited in a total of 18 categories, which played a promoting and leading role for the vigorous development of the light industry in the future.

National Light Industry Exposition

The Expo focused on the major development and achievements of China's light industry since the reform and opening-up. Each exhibition covers an area of nearly 20,000 square meters, exhibiting more than 10,000 products from more than 20 light industries and nearly 2,000 companies across the country. Party and state leaders such as Jiang Zemin, Li Peng and Buhe have visited the exhibition to inspect and guide.

Industry Association Exhibition

Ningbo International Housing and Furnishing Exposition

Referred to as “Home Expo”, it is a national-level international exhibition brand jointly hosted by the central government, industry associations and local governments. The exhibition covers upstream (real estate), mid-stream (building materials and home decoration) and downstream (furniture and home accessories), promoting the docking and linkage of the housing and furnishing industrial chain.

Referred to as “CPCDE”, it is a brand-new, one-stop communication platform for suppliers of domestic and foreign chemical industry raw materials, equipment and packaging materials and manufacturers of cosmetics, detergents and oral cleaning products. It is a chemical industry event integrating professionalism and scale.

Hangzhou (Beijing) Economic Cooperation Conference is an important project of the Hangzhou Municipal Government for procurement plan. The center completed this conference independently and won unanimous praise from the Hangzhou Municipal Government and delegates.

Beijing Hyundai Motor Dealers’Annual Financial Training Meeting

So far, the center has successfully held five training sessions for Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd., each of which has a scale of more than 700 dealers and held in many cities across the country. The center undertakes all the processes of the meeting and receives good social and economic benefits.
